The sandblasting metal surface rust by SIS055900 standard, the standard is divided into Sa1, Sa2, Sa2.5 and Sa3, Specific requirements are as follows:

(a)Sa3 the most thorough cleaning grade surface is consistent with the gray white, there is a certain degree of roughness to improve the adhesion of the coating. Grease, dirt, rust, rust, oxide and other impurities on the surface should be thoroughly cleaned.

(b)Sa2.5 is thoroughly clean up the level on the surface of all the grease, dirt, scale, rust, corrosion, old paint and other impurities removed, allowing due is not completely clear and shadow or color, but at least 95% surface to reach the level of Sa3 5%, there was only mild surface color.

(c)Sa2 is clean up level on the surface of the grease, dirt, rust and other impurities removed, rust, oxide skin and old paint was removed, allowed to exist due to the rust and oxide removal is not thorough enough and the emergence of shade or color. If the surface of the steel has been pitting corrosion, there will be a small amount of rust or old paint.

(d)Sa1 clean level surface thoroughly cleaned, grease, dirt, loose rust, loose oxide skin, loose paint is removed, and the substrate is firmly combined with the scale, rust, paint and coating on the surface of the painting allow residue after cleaning, a uniform distribution of metal spots appear on the surface.
